Introduction:

The purpose of this page is to document information on parasites.

Since it has become blatantly obvious that members of the Medical Industrial Complex are not interested in promoting any form of treatment that they cannot make a monetary profit from (either deliberately or through ignorance), I think it is prudent to learn as much as we can about the things that YHWH gave us to use as medicine.

How does someone become infected with a parasite?

Parasites are generally acquired from consuming contaminated food or water, but people with imbalanced gut flora, leaky gut syndrome or a weakened immune system may be more susceptible. Some can also be spread through the bite of a mosquito or sand fly, or transmitted to humans from animals such as cows and pigs that are infected with parasites like Cryptosporidium or Trichinella.

One potential cause of parasites is eating pork, especially if it's undercooked or raw. Pork can carry parasites and worms due to the poor conditions that pigs/hogs are typically raised in, so if this type of meat is regularly included in your diet, there's a chance that you may be susceptible to carrying one.

Other types of undercooked meat and seafood can also transfer harmful organisms, including beef, shellfish and crab.

International travel is another potential cause. If you live in the United States or Europe but have ever been to another country like China, India, Africa or Mexico, there's a chance that drinking the local water and eating the food in these places may have caused you to picked up a parasite.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), “Globally, contaminated water is a serious problem that can cause severe pain, disability and even death.” Contaminated water includes not only drinking water, but water from swimming pools, hot tubs, lakes, rivers or the ocean.

Carrots contain beta carotene that helps to kill the eggshells of intestinal parasites and stop the growth of the parasites.

Helps restore healthy pH balance and can generally improve digestion.

Cucumber seeds have always been used as a natural treatment to get rid of tapeworms from the digestive tract. Cucumber seeds powder can be used to treat tapeworms and can be consumed even if you don't have parasites. It would work as an effective preventive measure against parasite infection. This is because cucumbers are a vegetable and contain enzymes which make them so effective.

You can find cucumber seeds, grind them into powder and include a teaspoon in daily diet by adding to a smoothie or shake.

Coconut oil has plenty of antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties. Daily use of coconut oil will improve your health tremendously, In this article, let's look at its antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties and how it can be used to improve your health.

Antifungal Properties

Coconut oil is a natural product that possesses several health benefits. However, in this section, we shall focus on the benefits of the antifungal properties of this natural super food. In addition, the topical use of coconut oil as well as its regular consumption contributes to the development of natural antifungal processes in the body. You can use it in your kitchen as the major cooking medium, consume it directly from the jar, top up your smoothies, and apply it on your body like a skin moisturizer.

The essential fatty acids present in coconut oil inhibit the microbial attack and discourage the growth of candida. Capric acid, lauric acid, and caprylic acid fight against the fungal infection; however, caprylic acid is extremely effective in fighting these infections.

Apply few drops of coconut oil directly on your skin as well as the affected areas. You can also treat sexually transmitted infections like Jock itch or vaginal yeast infections. You may also use coconut oil to fight other fungal infections such as ringworm and athlete's foot. If you have a child, you can apply Coconut Oil on your baby to heal rashes from the diaper.

Coconut oil also acts as a great lubricant that helps in smooth bodily movements and promotes the development of healthy joints and bones.

Antibacterial Properties

Coconut oil possesses antibacterial properties that make it an excellent choice for home remedies. One of the components of coconut oil, monolaurin is effective in fighting against bacterial infection. The same component is present in breast milk. Coconut oil fights bacterial infection such as stomach ulcers. It also fights against other microbes and avoids that attack from harmful microbes. However, it distinguishes between the bacterial types and only fights bad bacteria, while promoting to the development of good bacteria. Medium chain triglycerides are the main factors contributing to the antibacterial properties of coconut oil.

Antiviral Properties

The modern scientists and health experts have popularized the use of coconut oil due to its several health benefits. Lauric acid is a medium chain fatty acid that promotes the antiviral properties of coconut oil.

Medium chain fatty acids or medium chain triglycerides such as capric acid, caprylic acid, and lauric acid combat the attack of several viruses that can lead to severe health disorders. Coconut oil may not treat the disease from its grassroots, but it will definitely reduce the symptoms of the disease and combat the viral infection spread throughout the body.

Viruses coated with fat lipids are destroyed due to the consumption of coconut oil. Coconut oil is a great treatment option for sexually transmitted viral diseases such as herpes, HIV, hepatitis C, and mononucleosis. Daily consumption of coconut oil reduces the development of symptoms of such viral infections.

Capric acid and lauric acid are absorbed by the skin cells quickly and converted into monoglycerides such as monocaprin and monolaurin. They attach to the protective layer of the viral infection, attack the internal components, and kill the viruses. The same process is adopted in fighting harmful bacteria and fungus.

How to Use Coconut Oil

You can add coconut oil to your morning cup of tea or coffee. You can cook using coconut oil as the main cooking medium. Coconut oil helps combat the fungal intestinal disorders, reduces inflammation, and produces a considerable supply of energy to sustain throughout the whole day. Moreover, coconut oil improves the digestive system because it is absorbed by the skin cells immediately and broken down into smaller molecules to produce energy.

Garlic may be one of the most traditional remedies to kill parasites and reducing unwanted microbes in the gut. It seems our research has caught up to our intuition with this one because garlic contains powerful broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites.

Additionally, garlic is a powerful source of nutrition that is great for the body in many ways. Although there are many beneficial compounds in garlic, one called allicin is thought to provide much of its antimicrobial effects. In order to maximize allicin, it is best to eat fresh garlic that has been smashed or chopped.

Alternatively, you could also supplement with a concentrated garlic extract to help kill parasites.

Garlic is one of the best sources of prebiotics, which feed the healthy bacteria of your microbiome, which will help restore balance to your gut.

Rich in sulfur compounds such as alliin, allicin, diallyl sulfide, and ajoene which are antibiotic (destroys pathogenic organisms), antilipidemic (reduces the amount of fat in the bloodstream), antithrombotic (decreases the formation of blood clots), and anti-carcinogenic (helps arrest the development of cancer). Research shows that these plant compounds also reduce the oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction present in the pathology of type II diabetes.

Garlic is a popular anti-parasitic food that can help deal with any type of intestinal worms. Raw garlic has sulfur-containing amino acids that are anti-parasitic in nature. Plus, the antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic properties in garlic help kill microbes in the body.

  • Eating three cloves of raw garlic on an empty stomach every day for one week is one of the simplest ways to get rid of all types of intestinal worms.

  • Alternatively, you can boil two crushed garlic cloves in one-half cup of milk and drink it on an empty stomach. Do this for about a week.

Grapefruit seed contains high amounts of citrus bioflavonoids that act as powerful antioxidants and antimicrobials. Specifically hesperidin, contained in grapefruit seed, may be largely responsible for its antimicrobial effects.

Studies have highlighted antibacterial and anti-fungal effects from this potent extract and, when combined with geranium, has even shown to effectively combat MRSA (an antibiotic-resistant strain of staph infection)

People have used onions as a traditional remedy for parasites for hundreds of years. Onions contain various sulfur metabolites that help inhibit compounds inside parasites necessary for its survival.
best results, eat garlic and onions together for a synergistic effect.

Raw onions are excellent for preventing digestive parasitosis.
Raw onion is also one of the best natural sources of quercetin. This explains the antiviral properties of onions, in addition to being one of the top foods that kill parasites.

The healthiest part of a pineapple is the core. It is extremely rich in an enzyme called bromelain, which has benefits that range from boosting digestion to killing both parasites and cancer cells within the body. Bromelain-rich fresh pineapple juice is able to decrease production of the proinflammatory cytokines that lead to colon inflammation.

Because bromelain is a protein-digesting enzyme (proteolytic), it is also an extremely valuable digestive aid that helps us break down protein foods. When the protein you eat is not properly broken down into amino acids (which would be the case in those with low HCL or insufficient digestive enzymes), you're missing out on key building blocks that act as precursors for neurotransmitters.

This protein-digesting action is also what makes pineapple such a powerful food for combatting intestinal parasites.

Bromelain causes cuticle damage in worms, leading to loss of motility and death. Incorporating pineapples into your diet helps to slowly erode the protective layer of these bugs so that they are easier for your immune system to fight and eliminate.

Bromelain instead exhibits 'selective cytotoxity,' meaning it is able to eradicate cancerous cells via a self-disassembly process called apoptosis, while leaving healthy cells unharmed.

Pumpkin seeds support gastrointestinal health because they contain certain antioxidants and other protective compounds, such as tetracyclic triterpenes and cucurbitins, that can paralyze worms and make it difficult for them to survive in the intestinal walls.

Pumpkin seeds are one of the oldest natural ways of treating parasites. When chewed or ground up, the seeds release what's known as tetracyclic triterpenes, which are substance that expel parasites from the body.

Other plant compounds within the seeds, known as cucurbitins, actually paralyze worms and prevent them from holding on to the intestinal walls so they can be easily be removed during a bowel movement.

Another quality that makes pumpkin seeds a 'superfood' is that they're one of the richest natural sources of magnesium. We usually think of magnesium levels being important for blood pressure, heart health, bone health and stress, but it's actually widely involved in gut health as well.

The seed from the raw pumpkin has a great effect against many types of parasite including tapeworm as well.

Medical researchers have found that a natural compound Berberis vulgaris - or the common herb Barberry - is anti-parasitic.

A 2014 study found that a Barberry extract and its central compund, berberine, provided 100% inhibition against the tapeworm's protocoleces. This means the budding and attachment of the buds into cysts.

The researchers found the herbal extract killed the tapeworm cysts on a dose-dependent fashion. At concetrations of 0.5 milligrams per milliliter and 2 mg/ml, the extract took 10 minutes to produce its anti-parasitic effect.

The active constituent in Barberry is berberine, which is a potent antifungal and antibacterial ingredient. If taken in too high a dosage, berberine can also be toxic.

A 2007 study found 22 different constituents in Barberry, including oxyacanthine and berbanine.

Berberine extracted from other herbal compounds such as Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) and Goldenthread (Coptis chinesis) and Oregon grape (Berberis aquifolium) has been shown to be antimicrobial and antifungal as well as antiparasitic. As review from a 2000 Journal Alternative Medicine Review stated:

Berberine extracts and decoctions have demonstrated significant antimicrobial activity against a variety of organisms including bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoans, helminths, and chlamydia.

2000 Journal Alternative Medicine Review

A number of studies over the past few years have shown Barberry's healing effects. Multiple laboratory studies have shown it can help with kidney stones and urinary tract infections. Other studies have shown its ability to scavenge free radicals. Other research has shown its ability to protect the liver. Berberine is also known to help cardiovascular conditions.

Goldenseal has an active component in it called berberine, and how berberines work is it actually prevents bacteria from even adhering to our cell walls

Overview
Goldthread is a plant. It is native to China and has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The underground stem (rhizome) is used to make medicine.
Goldthread is used for digestive disorders, parasite infections including leishmaniasis, and trichomoniasis, and a skin condition called psoriasis.
How does it work?
Goldthread might decrease acid in the stomach. It also appears to have antibacterial effects.

Uses & Effectiveness Insufficient Evidence to Rate Effectiveness for... Digestive problems. Leishmaniasis (a parasite infection that affects the skin). Trichomoniasis (a parasite infection that is transmitted sexually). Psoriasis (a skin condition). Other conditions. More evidence is needed to rate the effectiveness of goldthread for these uses.

Side Effects There is not enough information to know if goldthread is safe in medicinal amounts. Goldthread is UNSAFE in newborn infants.

Special Precautions & Warnings Children: Goldthread is UNSAFE in children. It contains a chemical called berberine that can increase the amount of bilirubin in newborns. Bilirubin is a chemical released by the liver. Too much bilirubin can lead to permanent brain damage in newborns, especially in newborns born too early. Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Goldthread is UNSAFE during pregnancy. It contains a chemical called berberine that is thought to cross the placenta and may cause harm to the developing child. Brain damage due to too much bilirubin has developed in newborn infants exposed to berberine. Beginning research suggests pregnant women who take goldthread during the first three months of pregnancy increase the risk that their newborns will have birth defects affecting the central nervous system. It's also UNSAFE for breast-feeding mothers to take goldthread. Berberine and other harmful chemicals in goldthread can be transferred to the infant through breast milk.

Goldthread (Coptis chinensis) has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries to treat all types of infections, including bacterial, parasitic, yeast, and protozoan. It contains a substance called berberine, which is responsible for the broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties

The list of health challenges that have historically benefited from Mimosa pudica is interesting and varied. Indian Ayuverdic medicine, a holistic system of health over 3,000 years old, prescribes Mimosa for a variety of health remedies including dysentery, leprosy, jaundice, asthma, uterine problems, blood diseases, fatigue and more.

Mimosa pudica seeds consist of a very gooey, sticky fat-soluble material that adheres to everything and helps to support the entire intestinal tract. It is considered by many to be the best herbal treatment for worms and other larger parasites.

[NOTE: Contraindication: Because of its proven anti-fertility properties, Mimosa Pudica should never be consumed by a woman trying to become pregnant. Also, pregnant women should not consume Mimosa pudica.]

Mint isn't just an aromatic and digestive plant. Additionally, it has anti-parasitic properties.

Myrrh has been used for its antiparasitic effects against various schistosome species, including Schistosoma mansoni, Schistosoma haematobium, and Schistosoma japonicum. Myrrh's effectiveness against these species may be caused by a separation of male and female couples through a loss of the musculature. As a result, the worms are shifted to the liver where they undergo phagocytosis.Barakat 2005 Additionally, myrrh has been used to treat fascioliasis, a zoonotic condition resulting from infection by Fasciola hepatica, a liver fluke that commonly infects sheep, goats, and cattle.Massoud 2001

Since then a number of other clinical studies have been published which suggest that the clinical use of myrrh represents a significant advance in the herbal treatment of parasites. Although its activity has been mainly shown against exotic infestations, it is likely to have even better activity against the less virulent parasites that occur in Australia, including the bothersome unicellular parasites. What is particularly interesting is that myrrh seems to be active against parasites that infest deeper in the body than the gut, such as in the liver and bladder, as in the case of schistosomiasis. Schistosomiasis (or bilharzia) is a common worm infestation in developing countries. The parasite penetrates the skin after contact with infested water and infects first the liver and then other organs such as the bladder. The disease can cause serious complications and can be fatal. This implies that myrrh will be effective against other pathogens that hide deeper in the body.

Neem is a powerful anti-microbial that is classically used in the Eastern healing art called Ayurvedic Medicine. The compounds within neem that make it so effective include anti-fungals, anti-virals, gedunin, nimbin and nimbidin. Neem also contains the polyphenolic anti-oxidant compounds quercetin and B-sitosterol.

Nimbidin is the main compound that helps neem to kill bacteria and parasites. Gedunin is anti-viral and anti-malarial. Salannin and azadirachtin work to repel insects. These compounds are most highly concentrated in the oil and seeds, but active ingredients are also present in bark and leaves

Neem is an effective natural method for removing all types of intestinal worms. It has anti-parasitic properties that not only kills parasites, but also helps remove the toxins

  • Drink a glass of warm milk or water mixed with one teaspoon of dried neem leaf powder twice daily for a week.

  • Grind the leaves of neem and make a fine paste of it. Take a glass of water and consume a half tablespoon of this paste every morning on an empty stomach. Consume this paste for a week to help reduce parasites in your intestine.

The discovery of anti-parasitic benefits of olive leaf for goats infected with intestinal parasites-olive leaf was screened for antiparasitic activity to a major intestinal nematode that infects goats, often causing mortality, Haemonchus contortus. Intestinal parasites are arguably the biggest constraint to goat production internationally. Chemical drugs are no longer the sustainable solution for controlling nematode infections due to drug resistance. Instead management plans are recommended to be tailor-made to individual goat farms utilizing the toolbox of strategies available. The use of plants and their medicinal compounds is an important component of this toolbox. Olive leaf extract was isolated as a novel plant for screening against goat nematodes, having shown medicinal activity in human medicine. The use of in vitro bioassays determined anti-parasitic activity to the larval stages of H. contortus. Consequently, during a preference test research trial, goats were offered a choice between olive leaf and wheaten chaffs. The goats exhibited an ability to learn the anti-parasitic ability of olive leaf. They increased their consumption of olive leaf in response to infection with H. contortus. They decreased their consumption of olive leaf following the termination of infection. This evidence of self-medication is valuable to goat farmers, particularly to those seeking to make use of the pharmacological capabilities of plants and highlights there remains much to discover in natures pharmacy. As more plants are screened, those endemic to particular regions can be isolated for anti-parasitic benefits and incorporated as a sustainable worm management strategy for goat farmers.

Olive Leaf Extract offers a natural and much less expensive method for self-treatment of nail fungus problems.

The olive tree (Olea europaea) is native to the Mediterranean region. Olive leaf extract has a long history of use against illnesses in which microorganisms play a major role. In more recent years, studies of olive leaf extract (containing oleuropein, calcium elenolate, and/or hydroxytyrosol) have shown that it is effective in eliminating a broad range of organisms, including bacteria, viruses, parasites, and yeast/mold/fungi.

Passion flower is an herb commonly used for anxiety relief and relaxation. It contains a wide array of nutrients including alkaloids, phenols, glycoside flavonoids, and cyanogenic compounds that may contribute to its ability to help fight pathogens.

Additionally, passionflower is great for improving insomnia symptoms and promoting a sense of overall calmness. This is important because one of the most common symptoms I have seen people experience when they have parasitic overgrowth is insomnia. In particular, waking up between 1-3am and having trouble falling back asleep is a common issue people with parasites experience.

Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is a common medicinal herb, with antimicrobial and antitumor properties.

Also known as Artemisia annua, sweet wormwood is an extremely bitter herb with properties that kill parasites. This powerful extract has also been shown to inhibit one of the most deadly malaria parasites, Plasmodium falciparum.

Some preliminary research also suggests that wormwood contains anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and immunoregulatory benefits as well. So using this to kill parasites and reduce inflammation in the gut can be very beneficial.

The Ayurvedic herb Vidanga, otherwise called Embelia ribes, is a climbing shrub that has powerful anti-parasitic effects. One of the main compounds is embelin and its unique 2,5 isobutylmine salts as well as plant tannins and glycosides that have been reported to possess anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, anti-hemolith, analgesic and anti-oxidant activities.

This herb has also been shown to reduce the damaging effects of a bacterial waste endotoxic product called lipopolysaccharide (LPS). LPS is a potent inflammatory agent and can trigger wide ranging inflammatory storms throughout the body including in the lungs where it can cause respiratory distress syndrome.

LPS is one of the main factors associated with “die-off syndrome” or the “healing crisis” people often encounter when trying to reduce bacteria, yeast and parasites in their gut. Studies show that the use of Vidanga significantly reduces LPS induced airway inflammation. This can be a powerful tool to help one reduce bad microbes and their toxic metabolites.

Wormseed, also known as Chenapodium ambrosides, is an uncommon herb with significant activity against fungi and certain bacteria. It has recently been investigated for its ability to fight H. Pylori which is a common and tricky to fight bacterial infection that many people get.

Wormseed has also been investigated as a natural alternative to chemical bug sprays, food preservatives, and as a supplement to help prevent intestinal infections in livestock.

I have no idea the state of your spiritual, mental, and/or physical well being. Therefore I have no idea where you should start. Listed below are some basics I have learned and what I have tried. I have no doubt that more will be revealed and the day will come when I look back and find that I could have had a better start.

I choose to eat a Scripturally clean diet so while I do not eat swine, or catfish, or crustaceans, I understand they were created by YHWH to have a specific purpose its just that purpose was not for human consumption. The same can be said of parasites. YHWH created these creatures for a purpose, it's simply that their purpose was not to be in my body.

I learned that parasites have a life cycle just like all living things that they use in order to survive. Parasites live and reproduce like all living things. An adult parasite lays thousands of eggs in it's host each and every day. In order not to compete for a limited food supply (the host body), adult parasites exude a substance which keeps the eggs from hatching. The eggs, in order to survive, encyst themselves in the host body until the adult dies and that substance no longer exists in the host. When the adult parasite dies, the production of that substance stops and the eggs can hatch and start the process all over again.

Because of this cycle, any treatment designed to rid the body of parasites should also be cyclic in nature. I currently take the smoothie (listed below) for 3 days in a row and don't take it for the next 4 days. This kills the adult parasites and then allows the eggs to hatch so that they can be killed and eliminated from my body. I also use the same cyclic method with my pets though I do not feed them all the foods available to me as their bodies were not designed to digest the same foods that my body was designed to handle.

At the time of this writing, I have already noticed amazing improvement in both of us.

I drink the smoothie listed below when I break my fast in the morning. While I have read it is best to take on an empty stomach, I still prefer my morning cup of coffee to start my day so I take it after that, typically within the first hour of waking up.

Turmeric mixture

The piperine in black pepper increases the bioavailability of the curcumin in turmeric by more than 1,000%!

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

I typically make several batches of this mixure as follows:

  • 2 tbsp ground turmeric
  • 1-1/2 tsp ground black pepper

or:

  • 4 tbsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper

Shake or mix well before each use to avoid seperation or settling.
