INTRODUCTION:

I created this page to document, with references, the feasts of YHWH. In June of 2009, I became aware of the Hebraic roots of my faith and started to seek my Heavenly Father's will. In a very short time, I became keenly aware of the mo'edim (appointed times) known as the feasts of YHWH. My teachers impressed upon me the importance of understanding these feasts/mo'edim as 'dress rehearsals' of future events.
I then began my quest to discover all that I could about these appointed times and how they were supposed to be observed. Almost immediately, I was inundated with a deluge of traditions. It seemed that almost everyone had their own interpretation of what was required to properly observe the feasts/mo'edim of YHWH. I made the decision to seek my answers in the Scriptures themselves.
Since I study the Scriptures daily, I began to document any and all references that I could find on the subject of the feasts/mo'edim of YHWH. This page is the result of my studies to date. Since this page was originally created to help me document the feasts/mo'edim, I took the liberty of paraphrasing the Scriptural references I came across. However, since I am using a number of different versions of Scripture in order to find the truth, I have included links to the chapter and verse in Scripture that I paraphrased.
While this work is by no means exhaustive or even complete, it will give the reader a very sound Scriptural basis on which to begin their own research. When I began this quest I was almost finished with my cycle of reading in the B'rit Hadasha so references from those books are a bit sketchy at this time. I intend to continue updating and adding to this study as long as YHWH allows.
Comments can be addressed to the address listed at the bottom of this page. Please be civil in your response and bear in mind that I injure easy and do not suffer well.
And finally, I'd like to thank at least a few of the many people who have helped me with this project. To my primary mentors, Mark Biltz, Eddie Chumney, Rico Cortes, Nehemiah Gordon, Monte Judah, Brad Scott, & Jim Staley you have my heart felt thanks. You all have wisdom beyond your years and I enjoy learning from each of you. To my brothers and sisters in fellowship Brad, Don, Ken, Kyle, Anita and Niki, there are no words adequate to express my gratitude for your patience, tolerance, knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm in helping me find my way. I love you all and am truly grateful to call you my friends. - Mark

"16 Let no one therefore judge you in eating or in drinking, or in respect of a festival or a new moon or Sabbaths -" (The ISR Scriptures)

"17 which are a shadow of what is to come - but the Body of the Messiah. i" (The ISR Scriptures)

i - The Body of Messiah, the assembly, is to give ruling on all matters, not the outsiders!

"16 Let no individual man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a moed, or in the Rosh Chodesh, or in the Shabbat days:" (The Restoration Scriptures)

"Which are shadows of things to come; except the Yisraelite body of Moshiach. 6221" (The Restoration Scriptures)

6221 - Since Yisrael is expected to follow all of YHWH's eternal ways, when we do the eternal ordinances, no one outside the body of Renewed Covenant Yisrael can, or has the right to, judge the manner in which we celebrate. The premise here is not if we celebrate, but proper guidance when we celebrate. No one but the congregation of Yisrael, can guide us in the manner that we celebrate. Moreover, verse 17 states that when we do these eternal feasts, we show forth the future kingdom to come, not things in the past. So if the celebration itself is a prophetic foreshadow of coming things, how is it that the celebrating of them takes anyone back to, or back "under the law," when Paul states just the opposite.
